How to care for your lingerie

Sarah Shotton, Agent Provocateur’s creative director, shares her expert tips on keeping your delicates just that:
1. Hand-wash your lingerie to keep it beautiful and soft – If you don’t have time, place it in a laundry bag and wash on a cold cycle instead
2. Close your bras before washing to prevent the hooks snagging the lace
3. Keep your lingerie drawer in order – Sarah colour-codes hers: bright for playful days; red for when she wants to feel sexy; black if she needs a power boost
4. To maintain the shape of your bras, wear a different one every day – it also helps to keep your partner guessing
5. When traveling, fold bras in half with wires facing to protect the fabric
6. Keep your smalls sweet by scenting your lingerie drawer with lavender – it will help to prevent moths, too.
